LD266 “An Act to Create the Maine Lighthouse Trust Registration Plate” which was passed by the legislature and signed by Governor Mills on May 04, 2021 is officially law!
The new plates have been produced and are available in all Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicle branch locations and city/town clerk offices (that offer plate services).
Thanks to all who have patiently supported this all-volunteer, non-profit effort to support Maine’s lighthouse community! We look forward to awarding the funds from this campaign via an annual grant program that will help preserve and restore Maine’s iconic lighthouses.
